1. Who are we?

Je Website Online (“we”, “us”) provides professional Light (1-page), Medium (3-page) and Pro (5-page) websites for small and medium-sized businesses in Belgium and the Netherlands.

2. What data do we collect?

Through the briefing form on our contact page we may receive the following data:

• Company name
• Sector
• Main goal of the website
• Information about your logo or brand identity and any files you upload
• Email address and phone number

3. Purposes and legal basis

In addition, technical data (such as IP address, browser type and timestamp) may appear briefly in server logs via our hosting provider.

• Design & quotes: processing your request or order and creating your website design and quotes (performance of the contract or pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest).
• Communication: contacting you about your request (contract / legitimate interest).
• Website operation: secure hosting and essential cookies (legitimate interest / necessary for the service).
• Website statistics: Ahrefs Web Analytics, without cookies (legitimate interest), and Google Analytics, only if you give your consent in the cookie notice (consent).
• Security: Google reCAPTCHA v3 on our forms and order buttons, against spam and abuse by bots (legitimate interest).

4. Google Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited to see how visitors use our website, so we can improve it. With your consent, Google Analytics collects, among other things:

• which pages you view, for how long, and which website or link brought you here;
• technical data such as device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language;
• interactions such as scrolling, clicks on external links and downloads;
• a randomly generated ID in a cookie, to recognise returning visits.

Google Analytics only loads after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you click “Decline”, nothing from Google Analytics is loaded and no analytics cookies are placed.

Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; the IP address is only used to derive an approximate location (country, region, city). Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we do not share this data for advertising. Data may also be processed in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this. User-level statistics are kept according to the retention period set in Google Analytics (2 months by default, 14 months at most). More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. After withdrawal, Google Analytics stops immediately and we remove the analytics cookies from your browser.

5. Ahrefs Web Analytics (visitor statistics)

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics by Ahrefs Pte Ltd (Singapore) to see how many people visit our website and which pages they view. Ahrefs Web Analytics uses no cookies and does not store IP addresses. Ahrefs collects:

• which pages you view and which website or link brought you here;
• technical data such as browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language;
• your location at city level (country and city);
• clicks on links and form submissions.

Your IP address is only used to determine your country and city and is never stored. To count unique visitors, Ahrefs creates a pseudonymous daily ID that changes every 24 hours. This means Ahrefs cannot track you across days, devices or websites.

6. Processors & technology

To keep this site and the contact form running, we use the following services (processors):

• Vercel Inc. — hosting, content delivery (CDN) and server functions. More information: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics 4 for website statistics, only with your consent. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Ahrefs Pte Ltd — Ahrefs Web Analytics for website statistics, without cookies. More information: ahrefs.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Ireland Limited — Google reCAPTCHA v3, protecting our forms (contact, briefing, special request) and order buttons against spam and bots. reCAPTCHA only loads when you open such a form or point at or use an order button. Google processes data such as your IP address, browser and device information and interaction data (such as mouse movements and time on the page) to assess whether you are human. • Resend — sending transactional emails (briefing confirmations, contact form confirmations, and notifications to our team). More information: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Data may be processed outside the EEA (including the United States). Where necessary, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by the relevant supplier.

7. Retention periods

We keep contact and briefing data for as long as we need it to handle your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards (generally no longer than 24 months), unless a longer retention period is required by law or you become a customer (in which case our accounting obligations apply).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have, among others, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Belgium) or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Netherlands).
